Albany, being the first settlement in Western Australia, is full
of history and historical buildings.
Robinson Estate is only 5 minutes drive
from the City-centre but is in farming country and is also full
of history. It was one of the first farms in the area supplying
milk/cheese and vegetables to the local markets plus Perth and the
Goldfields. Robinson Estate was big enough to have its own one
teacher school for the workers children.
To-day you are able to walk or bike through the tree lined
windy roads of Robinson Estate and enjoy watching native birds
and wild life. The Equestrian Centre and Spencer Race Course are
in easy reach of greenfield farm.
A short drive to the south coast and you can get some spectacular
views of the Wind Farm, Natural Bridge and Gap, Cable Beach and
the Blow Holes or visit Whale World.
